Optional visitor analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and which pages are popular. Google receives information such as pages viewed, visit times, browser and device information, and approximate location. Analytics uses identifiers stored in cookies, including cookies whose names begin with _ga.

We load Google Analytics only after you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics does not affect your access to the site. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation. Our page-view tracking excludes search terms and URL query strings.

We remember your choice in your browser for six months. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and removes Analytics cookies from this site; it does not automatically delete information already collected.

Google processes analytics information on our behalf and may process it outside the European Economic Area under its applicable data-transfer arrangements. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics privacy information.

Running the website

Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and request times, to deliver and protect the site. These operational records are separate from optional Google Analytics.

Messages and your rights

If you email us, we use your message and contact details to respond and investigate the issue raised. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information. You may ask about access, correction or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. You can also raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
